Spoken word and audiobook recording is also available. One book recorded in IMS was “In Her Element” by Selina Delangre, read by her daughter Carla Delangre (seen in photo). Other voiceover work clients include American Institute of Steel Construction and Mark Tullis for his book, “Dance of the Blue Ghost.”

There are 100 episodes of “Asheville 8(pm) Note,” a lo-fi livestream started in early 2022, each of which feature a chat and jam with various local Asheville musicians and bands. It was a way for me, the host and engineer Sam Irvin, to 1) carve out some time to enjoy music just for the fun of it, 2) build some community and 3) practice my A/V skills.
